This is a position of responsibility in a growing company. This candidate will perform project civil engineering for a wide variety of projects. Typical projects include street and road construction and rehabilitation, sanitary sewers, domestic and reclaimed water transmission pipelines, site development, utility master plans, and feasibility studies. Typical tasks are preparation of design drawings and specifications, preparation of construction cost estimates, report writing, preparation of engineering calculations, attendance at project review meetings, and some client contact.

This position is at our conveniently located Pasadena office. We also operate an office in Orange County, which can be the home base of a potential candidate.

This position requires a degree in civil engineering with the intent of registration in California as a civil engineer, one to two years experience in civil engineering design, including site development, street improvements, storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water distribution and transmission, and report writing. This position requires experience in engineering calculations, such as hydrology and hydraulics. Proficiency in CAD is a plus. Experience working for a small or medium sized company will be helpful. Good communications skills are required.
